The El Rito History Project is dedicated to preserving and sharing that story. Inside, visitors can explore historic photographs, family histories, maps, biographies, timelines, documents, oral histories, and special exhibits about the people and places that have shaped the community.

Explore the ancestral Tewa world of Sapawe, the beginnings of the Hispano village, and the farms and acequias that sustained its families.
